23. Yao Hilltribe Shaman's Staff China, 19th Century. 41" (104 cm.) long. Wood inlaid with metal -- possibly tin. With an iron spike at the bottom, the staff is planted in front of the door of a priest's house during rituals to ward of evil spirits. $500.
