  5. Carp Tsuba with Inscription. Japan, Edo period, 19th Century. Iron with gold, copper, silver inlay. 1 3/4" (7 cm.) diameter. Cast in deep relief with an image of a man riding a carp jumping out of the waves. The waves are flecked with tiny silver bubbles. With an inscription on both sides; on side is signed Goshen Hikone. $950.
